Traveling With Doggie? Essential Doggie Travel Checklist

It’s always a good idea to make a list of essentials to bring along when you’re going on a trip, and traveling with Doggie is no exception.  Making a list of items to bring along well in advance of the trip allows you to remember commonly forgotten items and add them to list before you disembark.  Here at we’ve done the work for you!

When traveling with Doggie, don’t forget these essential items to make Doggie as comfortable as possible!  After all, she’s a part of the family, and has some special needs that could be commonly forgotten in the moment of departure.


  • Medications and Vaccination Records
  • Tags/Leash and Collar
  • Water
  • Food
  • Bowl
  • Snacks/Treats for the trip
  • Blankets/Bed
  • Toys
  • Crate or Carrier
  • Pooper Scooper
  • Doggie Waste Bags
  • Wipes to clean up any surprises
  • Brush
  • Sweater or Jacket to Keep Doggie Warm
  • Phone Number and Address of a Vet Near Where You’re Staying
  • Doggie First Aid Kit
  • Extra Towels

    • Agreed! My mom was always a dog person until very recently she decided she was a cat person–likes their temperment…I thought it was interesting, she takes her cat out for walks with a collar and leash. I had never seen anyone walk a cat like that before. That kitty took to the leash very well though! Thanks for checking outt He post!
