Easter Cookies For Doggie

Easter is one of my favorite holidays!! It gives me a good excuse to be a little creative!

 

INGREDIENTS:

½ teaspoon honey

½ cup peanut butter

½ cup milk

1 – ¼ cup whole-wheat flour

¼ cup coconut oil, melted

¼ tablespoon baking powder

1 egg

DIRECTIONS:

 Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Sift flour, baking powder into a bowl.

Mix in the egg, milk, peanut butter, honey and coconut oil.

I use a ninja bullet to mix my batter.

Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon flour onto work surface; coat all sides of dough with flour. With rolling pin, roll out dough 1/4 inch thick, adding additional flour as needed to prevent sticking.

Refrigerate the dough until firm.

With a floured  egg-shaped cookie cutter, cut out eggs. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 12-15 minutes

I used this Dog Treat Icing base that I got off of Amazon as well as McCormick Color From Nature, 0.51 oz. Both are all natural. Be careful with the food coloring! A little goes a long way!
